NHS population screening: information leaflet for transgender and non-binary people:

NHS Screening Programmes

 There is a new PHE patient information leaflet ‘for trans people NHS Screening Programmes’.   This leaflet should be made available to trans and non-binary people to inform them about the:-

  • cervical screening
  • breast screening
  • abdominal aortic aneurysm screening
  • bowel screening

You can download and print off hard copies as required. You can print this document in booklet form if your computer has that option.

It is useful to note which GP you would prefer to see before you call on the day to arrange an appointment. Our appointment system strives to provide patient and GP continuity of care.

For a routine appointment it is best to call between 08:30 - 11:30 am or 14:30 - 17:30 pm every weekday (excluding bank holidays)
