Practice Ethos

We are committed to caring for the physical, psychological and social aspects of our patient's health, incorporating the prevention and treatment of disease and promotion of health. To constantly improve the quality of our service we will perform clinical and organisational audit, undergo regular training and base our practice on evidence based research. We will strive to offer the highest standard of care available resources permit and continue our commitment to the NHS acting where possible, as your advocate in its improvement. We will provide care according to need regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, problems or mental and physical ability. We aim to provide a safe environment for the practice health team, our patients and visitors and to make the Nightingale Practice an enjoyable place to work.

AskmyGP

Getting clinical and administrative help at the Nightingale Practice is going to get quicker and easier, using your smartphone, tablet or computer anytime anywhere.

This is all thanks to your feedback.

From Tuesday 4th August we are changing our appointment system.

We hope that this new system will improve your experience of the practice and as always we would welcome your feedback online (care opinion) or why not join our virtual patient group

Why a new system?

Feedback from patients has always been very positive when they have spoken to or seen a healthcare professional however, trying to get through to the surgery by phone proved to be constantly difficult.

Our new system allows patients to get the right help from the practice team through making a request on-line, freeing up the phones for those patients who are the most vulnerable and find it most difficult to get through to us.
