The Healthcare assistants provide a wide range of services including:

The nurses provide all the above and also:

- Heart disease checks
- Counter weight management programme
- Advice on blocked ears
- Travel advice and immunisations
- Approved Yellow Fever centre
- Asthma checks
- Diabetic checks
- Advice for a healthy lifestyle
All children under five years are allocated to our health visitors. They are available during baby clinics (Mon 1:30 – 3:30pm) no appointment necessary, however spaces are limited and is worked out on a first come first serve basis. The clinic is for developmental concerns, support and advice. There is also is baby weighing available. If you require telephone advice please phone 0207 683 4548/4550; you may be required to leave a message.
Mondays 8:30 - 17:00. This clinic is staffed by midwives from the Homerton hospital and our practice doctors. By appointment through reception.
Mondays 1:45 – 3:30pm
This is a walk in ‘well baby’ clinic for monitoring your child’s growth and development, it is staffed by the health visitor and a practice nurse and a doctor. Although we have a nurse on duty for immunisations we would encourage you to arrange routine appointments with a practice nurse for childhood immunisations. Please book in at reception upon your arrival.
Post natal and Baby 6 week Developmental Checks
By appointment only
Monday AM and Thursday PM by invitation. In addition to their usual care, patients with diabetes are invited for a complete medical check up once a year. During the appointment they will see a practice nurse and Doctor.
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Clinic
Our COPD clinic is by invitation
By appointment through reception. An initial 30 minute appointment with one of our practice nurses, and then 15 minute follow up appointments for up to 3 months, for advice and continuing support. To avail of this you must be ready to set a quit date and be seen weekly for the first 4 weeks. Nicotine replacement therapy can be prescribed for up to 12 weeks under this scheme.
Minor surgery clinic is every Thursday and by appointment.

Turkish/ Kurdish Advocate Sessions
Patients requiring the use of a Turkish / Kurdish advocate during doctors / nurses consultations. By appointment.
We also offer our patients whose first language is not English a service called language line. The doctor or nurse can obtain an advocate in many different languages using the telephone on hands free which enables a three way conversation to take place. Please advise reception that you will require this service when booking the appointment.
